Questions and discussion took place about the home invasion on Draper -still an ongoing investigation.  Officers reiterated that any concerns or issues must be called in for the police to be able to help.

Councilman’s Report (not in attendance):  In his absence, Councilman Ladouceur shared the following update with Kevin -sewer engineering project is done and next will be the request for proposals for bidding.

Treasurers Report: Stock Market has been very good this year; our investments are up 20%

Secretary’s Report: Received a “Thank You” from Woodbury Church and CVA for help with their Halloween event.

Old Business: Summer Cookout was a success – thank you to George and Stephanie for hosting the event.  Our Halloween parade was cancelled due to rain.  RVIA helped again with the Halloween Spooktacular in Conimicut Village.

New Business: Will soon be announcing our annual Christmas Lights Contest throughout the neighborhood. There was considerable damage done at Lippitt Park by a vehicle -the City will be filing a claim, could take a while before it is fixed and repaired. Discussion on new donation idea to EBC House, all thought good idea.

No date set yet for the 2019 Stockholder’s Meeting – it was asked if OK to move to January, all in agreement.

A resident was concerned about a house on Pender Ave. that had been demolished; the resident was told to take up the issue with City Hall as RIVA does not intervene with building and zoning concerns.

No date set yet for next quarterly meeting -will be set at Stockholders Meeting.

Meeting adjourned 7:40pm
