Here’s how to Pay:

RVIA will gladly add you to our membership list and process your payment. Currently, we accept Checks or Cash (cash in person only at events & meetings). Please don’t mail cash for security reasons.

If you have any questions about joining, paying, getting involved, becoming a Stockholder, History of the neighborhood, etc. look over this site’s various menu dropdowns and use the “Search Tool”. You’ll probably find something interesting. If that doesn’t help, email sandraj825@verizon.net.

Checks are payable to: Riverview Improvement Association

Mail payment to:

You can also pay for your Membership in person at any of RVIA’s meetings and events.

Yes – Your entire household can join in with our activities, special events, social gatherings and news of our neighborhood for just $20.00/year!

Your membership payment is used for the activities, charitable causes and operating expenses of our Association. We also hold fundraising events during the year to generate additional revenue for these purposes.

Some of the expenses that RVIA pays for in the neighborhood include:

  1. Landscaping & Upkeep of Lippitt Park and the ends of streets: Including Mill Cove Road & Cady Ave. Services include mowing, weeding & mulching. Many of us volunteer to get things done, and we also contract a landscaping company for periodic mowing. We also like to do some planting now and again to spruce up flowers & bushes. [Note: The City of Warwick owns these properties. RVIA is limited by liability issues in terms what we can and cannot do. We take care of the areas because we all like a tidy park & access points to the beach! We ultimately do a better job and buoy neighborhood pride from our efforts].
  2. Annual Block Party – Typically held in late August or early September. Costs include RVIA supplied food & beverages, outside catering, tables, chairs, linens, entertainment, etc. We encourage food, desserts, beverage contributions from members to add to the party fun. Note: Members current with their membership payment attend for FREE! You’ll have opportunity to pay on the way into the party grounds (if you haven’t already).
  3. Charitable Causes in and around our neighborhood area. Do you know someone or a family that needs a little help? Let us know, and we’ll provide some personal or financial assistance.

A great, fun party costs money. These costs continue to rise (like everything, correct?). We really like to throw this party generally free of charge, but we do accept contributions to help support the Block Party and our charitable activities. You’ll see a “donation can or box” requesting any size contribution you can afford at our Neighborhood Meetings & sponsored events.

Keep an eye on RVIA’s Calender of Events

Once you join and provide to us your preferred email address(es), a renewal invoice will be emailed to “the head of household” as a reminder when another year has passed by. RVIA will be emailing membership notices in January of each new year.

I suggest providing everyone’s separate email address if you have several household members. This way our Newsletter will reach each of you directly.
