THE MAIN EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN! BUT a new plan for Halloween Night is in the works! Stay tuned for updates here and on FB Groups, "MyRVIA.org".
The Main Event with the planned Costume Parade & Hayride along with a fun Photo Booth had to be cancelled due to bad rain on the 29th.
Since we had a lot of Candy Bags and Dog Treat Bags packed and ready to give out, gears shifted to a Halloween Night setup at 65 Lippitt Ave. Fun time with several costumed “Trick or Treaters” between about 5:00 and 8:00 PM. A chilly, clear night with that weekend rain long gone.
Some quick “set design & setup” by Linda and David got us ready for our first trick or treater a little before sunset. It was a horse and his rider!!! LOL. Hey…the HAY was an unexpected treat! Familiar faces and a former resident of Riverview.

The "Original" Planned Event" Rained Out (but hopefully Next Year's Plan):
Date: October 29th
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Location: 65 Lippitt Ave.
* Note: The Kids Costume Parade will start at 2:00 PM at the corner of Cady Ave. and Tidewater Drive
- This year we are having a Hayride with a trailer full of hay to ride around the neighborhood on!!!
- We will have both a Police Cruiser and a Fire Truck to escort & keep the Kids safe!
- Hayride in a hay filled trailer will leave from & return to 65 Lippitt Ave.
- Candy Bag Treats, Hot Cider & Apple Cider Donuts, Special Treats for your Dog too!
- Take photos at the decorated “Photo Background” for fun Halloween Memories
Start working on your costumes! For both your Kids & Pets and Adults too!
