RVIA Meeting Minutes, June 15th, 2022

Meeting called to order at 7pm.

Introduction of the New President David Woisard and his wife Linda Hagstrom.

Officers Report: N/A

Councilman’s Report, Ed Ladouceur – Ward 5:
Spoke about Kevin Cabral coming door to door to ask residents where they would like their sewer lines to go. Highland Beach has had no issues and is fifty percent finished. If there is damage to your property during this process, the damage will be repaired. There is no mandatory hookup unless you have a cesspool or a failing septic system. Narragansett Indians did not sign the agreement. Riverview mostly if not all directional drilling and will be close to finished.

We are integrating with Facebook and Instagram.

Newsletters 2 a month. Relationship with Ed and Betty Anne Rodgers (WSA) and a direct email for what is going on in Riverview.

Social News:

Sunday Sept 18 1pm-6pm. Rain or shine at the end of the Riverview. A Mano Pizza and Gelato Truck. Hamburgers, hot dogs and veggies burgers too.

Movie night – Trying to plan with George Shuster’s friend Re: Neighborhood Trolleys

Other News:

Oyster history. Hoping to find someone to come talk to RVIA about interesting Bay history.

George Shuster has a friend who has the history of the trolleys.
