1. Welcome all Officers & Board Members to Team RVIA

2. My vision and proposed “adjustments” to RVIA:

Our purpose is to:

RVIA is a community  association that fosters connections with neighbors. (I.E. get to know your neighbors better.)

By doing so, we build a sense of community and enhance that community with fun activities, charitable causes & assistance, and teaching/learning about things that make the Riverview region of Warwick, RI a very nice & interesting place to live. History, etc.

That’s what I’d like to achieve.

I want to be able to proudly wear a Riverview Neighborhood T-shirt, anywhere, as a conversation piece to all those we’re showing it off to. These shirts will have new logos & artwork with the phrase:

“A Very Nice & Interesting Place to Live”

The RVIA neighborhood can be polled to choose favorite designs. We can do that type of poll on the myRVIA.org website.

The new phrase puts the focus on Riverview residents and helps foster a stronger sense of community. RVIA enhances our neighborhood community. I’d like to retire, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors & Community”, the phrase I coined for the https://myRVIA website early on in 2008.
