Please note that the Recording Secretary and Vice President could not attend the meeting. No official Minutes were recorded, and therefore this outline serves as reminder of the Meeting discussions.

Stockholder Meeting at Iggy's Boardwalk

Held at Iggy’s Boardwalk, 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Meeting Agenda / Bullet Points (Not necessarily discussed in this order):

  • Treasurer’s Report, Dues & Accounting of Paid Members (Credit Balances only for those paid beyond Dec. 31, 2022)
    • Dues increase to $20 or more.
    •  Treasurer Duties separated / or integrated with Membership?
    • Membership Pro Online Database to be discussed.
    • New Treasurer needed as Tricia Amirault wants to retire.
  • Purpose & Longevity of RVIA
  •  Review History & Charter/Bylaws

• Promotion of RVIA via USPS Direct Mail, Neighborhood Postcards & Delivered Flyers.

  • Activies Planning:
    • Social Committee to be formed.
    • Landscape/Beautification Committee to be formed.

• New Stockholders to be proposed and approved / New Membership Drive to promote general membership.

• Brick Fundraiser & Drive to complete and expand (maybe along the sides of walk)

Meetings, Quarterly:

  • What day of week is best for Neighborhood Meetings?
  • Poll membership online about best days, times, topics.
  • Determine Known Date/Day for meetings to avoid conflicts of Board & Officers.

• Webstore Closed – I (we) tried. Still have “sample” shirts and mugs available (future giveaways?).

• Stats on Members versus E-Newsletter Sign Ups presented:

  • 80% WELL ENGAGED
  • 10 – 15% not so engaged
  • 5 -10% not interested – Don’t read

Beautification & Upkeep:

• Lippitt Park Seawall Repair & Ends of Streets Overgrowth

  • City of Warwick to compensate somehow. We should get assistance since funding is available.
