Good morning, Riverview. I hope you have been able to enjoy the wonderful summer weather we’ve had lately. Just gorgeous days and nights.

Below is news and updates that I am passing along that I received via our Councilman and WSA personnel. Beware of future traffic patrols and better yet just slow down & drive more carefully. Thanks!

As an aside, stay tuned for more info on a “Backyard Games” social party Linda & I would like to host at our residence sometime soon. We’re figuring out a date that works, and I’ll post more information about it soon. It will be a “bring your Bocce set, Corn Hole Toss, or other game you might have that we can all enjoy along with some local craft beers, seltzers and wine”. A very casual gathering in a very busy summer period for everyone. Hopefully some of you can attend while I know many might be on vacation or hosting their own parties. Either way… it’s the time of year for fun & sun!

A recent note from Councilman Ed Ladoucer

Good morning, Bayside! The following is an update that I received yesterday from the Sewer Authority.
Construction has been moving along quite well. They did encounter quite a bit of ledge these past couple of weeks.

Thank you all for your patience during this time of construction. I know it hasn’t always been perfect but the WSA and D’Ambra have been very responsive to any concerns I have shared with them
I will continue to request Police Enforcement for speeding throughout the Bayside area. I have been getting numerous complaints about speeding. No one wants a ticket and I know no one wants to be in an accident.

HERE IS THE LATEST UPDATE:

Good morning Councilman Ladouceur,

I hope you are doing well.

The WSA has received an updated schedule from D’Ambra Construction.

Provided below is an update we have received this morning regarding the Bayside Construction project.
· Directional drilling on Tidewater continues.
· Crew has installed 6” PVC from Arlington to Mill Cove.
· Crew is currently drilling from River Vue Av to Mill Cove Rd and anticipates the installation of the pipe today. When complete, the only remaining segment on Tidewater will be from River Vue to Friendship.
· Once Tidewater has been completed, installation of the mainline will begin on Friendship.
· Palmer has the mainline pipe installed from Medford to approximately Priscilla. Crew will continue installation on Palmer.
· Crew has encountered a substantial amount of ledge in the Rocky Point area.
