NEW DATE — FRIDAY, JUNE 21st

6:30 PM UNTIL THE STRAWBERRY MOON RISES

The Strawberry Moon happens just once a year and this one’s extra special. Because it coincides with the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year. This phenomenon is so rare, NASA says it only occurs about every 20 years!

The sun won’t set until nearly 8:30. Then about a half hour later, a spectacular Strawberry Moon will rise over the bay.

Our timely beach party (entrance at Mill Cove) is FREE! There’ll be snacks. Games. Plus plenty of time to socialize with your neighbors around a fire pit.

So bring your bug spray, beach chairs, favorite beverages, and join the festivities. Because if you miss this Summer Solstice & Strawberry Moon Beach Party, there won’t be another one until sometime around 2044!

PS. HELP THE HUNGRY. Find room in your beach bag for a non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food bank.
