Block Grant Information
As of the August 11, 2010 RVIA Meeting, there is no new major news to report in regards to the Block Grant. There is some ongoing discussion with the City pertaining to filling in the open portion of the wall at Cady Park.
Progress has been significantly delayed due to the Spring Flood. The City of Warwick has been really tied up with critical issues associated with the flood damage in various locations of Warwick, and limited time and resources has stalled progress on Block Grant projects. The City of Warwick is expected to report to RVIA in terms of "allowable/approved" projects. Hopefully there will be more information available to announce at the September 12th Block Party (see calendar). A project timeline has not been determined. Thank you for your patience.

Watch for news around the City for this collection program that is scheduled for September 25, 2010.
Collection & Disposal is the way to go. Don't put you old drugs down the drain!
