Swans are frequent visitors of the beach, and they appeared in great abundance this year. Seemed like more of them than in comparison with the last few years. On several occasions, more than 50+ were counted. Fun to see. So visible during the setting sunlight. Their white bodies almost glow. Click ...
Riverview & Save The Bay join forces to clean up the shoreline.
Good job everybody. I believe we tipped the scales with a total of 340-ish pounds of jetsom & floatsom and litterbug trash collected from the Riverview stretch of beach.

The "Macaroni Dinner" presented to the Meadowbrook Tenants Association on Saturday, January 17, 2009 was a great success! The residents truly appreciated the dinner and dessert treats. Thank you very much to all the RVIA neighborhood volunteers that made this a very enjoyable and tasty dinner.

Block Grant Information
UPDATE: As of the October 14, 2009 RVIA Meeting, there is no new news to report in regards to the Block Grant. No progress is expected until Spring 2010. City of Warwick is expected to report on "allowable/approved" projects at that time.

Also, Minutes from the June 24, 2009 meeting are posted in the "Meeting Minutes" section. Voting results that officially prioritize projects are presented in these minutes.
